This computer was recommended by a friend, because my small VIAO’s harddrive was pretty much finished. It still functions but won’t connect to the internet for some reason, and I can’t place more ram on it because it is too ancient. So, not wanting to spend too much, I bought the dell.
It’s a fine computer, except I’m not the largest fan of Vista(not Dell’s flaw), and it was fine for 850. Until the sound stopped working, which I found how to fix owing to a web blog. And then the disk drive stopped working. I contacted Dell, blah blah. And now the sound isn’t working again, for a whole new reason, that I really don’t have the patience for. I got this computer in like July, what’s up? I was dumb enough not to get a warentee, but oh well. Anyway, after all this complaining, I guess the computer is ok, but I would recommended spending a small more on something else if you don’t feel like fighting with your computer.

This notebook was recommended by a friend.And I have found it very dissapointing.It has no video card so ever, it is impossible to play even minor video games, the slot for cd/dvd is awfull and the sound? Terrible!!! Excellent quality screen, enough storage for everything, quick. But, please do spend a small bit more if yopu don’t want to fight with your laptop.

At first I was doubt about this laptop. For these specs, the price is so low. But I tried. If something happen I will return it back to Dell. Now, it has been a small while and everything is working perfectly. For me, this laptop is adorable.

Vista is horrible. This computer overheats on me constantly, even though I do not leave it on a bed or pillow. The optical drive is currently not working. I’ve had this computer for 3 months, so I am pretty disappointed. I’m shipping it back to dell to see if they can fix any of the problems, but I doubt it. Once a sub-par computer, always a sub-par computer.
I recommend you steer apparent of this laptop.

Each person has their own experience using this laptop. I bought this laptop small while ago, and so far I am very satisfied with performance of this laptop. I had experience with Dell laptop previously since I owned Dell Inspiron 1425; and it worked just fine. I need a quicker laptop for my facility, and I reckon this laptop will suit to my needs. I like the point and its back-lit keyboard.
