The thought of smaller laptops doesn’t make much sense when you are sacrificing all the speed, screen size, show quality, hard drive space, hardware quality, dvd/cd rom drive, wireless speed that makes up a excellent notebook. Netbooks are smaller….ok but they are not better at anything and are worse at 90% of things. This laptop, Acer’s, toshiba’s, and HP’s mini laptops are all made with the same cheap, slow, low quality hardware, dull displays, horrid screen resolutions and terrible processors in a smaller box. Waste of cash.

BOUGHT THIS NETBOOK IN JANUARY AND AM VERY MUCH ENJOYING IT. NEVER HAD A LAPTOP BEFORE AND I AM NOT COMPUTER SAVY, BUT THIS HAS BEEN FUN AND VERY EASY TO USE. MY GRANDKIDS THINK IT IS GREAT TOO! NO COMPLAINTS SO FAR. GREAT PRICE FOR WHAT IS ON IT. WINDOWS 7 PREMIUM INSTEAD OF THE STARTER VERSION WAS A BIG SELLING FACTOR FOR ME. BOUGHT AN EXTERNAL DVD/CD BURNER TO COMPLETE THE PACKAGE AND SO FAR EVERYTHING IS WORKING SUPER. FREE SHIPPING WAS AN EXTRA BONUS AND IT GOT HERE PRETTY DARN QUICK! I LOVE THE RED COLOR!!

A buddy bought one of these a couple months before, and i thought it was just another netbook, but it was a tad larger, light and sleek.
This Gateway is nearly as small as an Atom-processor device, tho my hands fit the keyboard better. I like the hi-def screen.. it allows metaphors to be seen as small & sharp as the printed page.
Win7 is a joy to use, once you’ve become accustomed to its facial appearance and layout. 2Gb RAM & 250GB HDD gives me plenty of room, tho I miss the ancient keyboard of my Lenovo Thinkpad.
This stylish keypad is flat & smooth, which makes it simple for my stout fingers to mistype.. I’ve often had to retype sentences after realizing it’s Caps Lock key was on.
Array lasts for hours and I sometimes forget to take my charger.
My backpack is way lighter with this machine!
