I requested a quick delivery of the computer while I was in the states attending a conference; the message indicated that I will receive the bought computer within two days. Then I received a phone call to confirm the purchasing process in which I emphasized on the importance of receiving the computer before I leave the States, I was assured then that I will receive it within two days. When I didn’t, I contacted Amazon. I was given the phone number of the delivering agency; I called them, and received a confirmation of receiving the item before my departure. Unfortunately, I had to leave lacking a computer and had to cancel the order. I wished that there was a commitment to all the assurance of the delivery date that I heard over the phone several times. I am sorry to have such an experience. This experience made doubts regarding purchasing items via internet. If in the States couldn’t receive it on time, how long it will take to receive it overseas?
I returned home lacking a computer and with a loss of some cash as I was exciting of the delivery cost of an item that wasn’t delivered.

I’ve had this computer for about half a year and have had no problems with it. Its small enough to be taken with ease but also very decent. full sized keyboard with a huge screen. the only terrible things about this computer i can reckon of are 1) small array, its like 2 1/2 hours. 2) Vista Basic, we all no Vista isn’t that excellent but i have Windows 7 so not a problem anymore 3) isn’t fantastic for Gaming. 2.16 Ghz with 2 GB RAM? not to powerful but will play older games. its a excellent Laptop for a fantastic price

I just bought the Toshiba Satellite L305-S5919 Laptop Notebook and find it an exceptional computer. I was looking for either a excellent netbook or a laptop computer for traveling. It had to have WI-FI and be competent of surfing the internet. I wasn’t disappointed. It clearly worked well and it had plenty of space for writing a journal of my trip, down loading songs and data, and connecting with websites to find information about Museums, Zoo’s, Towns and what every my family and I sought after to look up on our trip. I had no problems checking my emails or connecting with my office. It set up easily and wasn’t too small to type on like the netbooks I tried before buying the Toshiba. I highly recommend this inexpensive and durable small laptop. It made my vacation simple and enjoyable.

Our 8 year ancient desktop finally gave out.We debated what to get–desktop or laptop.This one fits our needs perfectly.I am 73 yrs.ancient & not too sharp on computers but found this one simple to set up & use.It is so much quicker than our ancient one(not a toshiba)

The hard drive on my Toshiba Satellite laptop completely fried for no apparent reason 60 days post buy. I lost all my data, my operating system & Microsoft Office.
Much to my bewilderment, Toshiba has refused to provide any help other than replacing the hard drive, which is obviously still under warranty. They refused to help with data recovery, are charging me for recovery discs & could care less that I have to pay $450 to replace Microsoft Office.
I’ve never experienced a so-called quality company so unwilling to stand in the rear its products. I’d exchange the computer for another strain in a second if I could.
